RV Weight Distribution Hitch Rental

Weight Distribution Hitch

Weight distribution is properly adjusting the weight of a trailer from the rear of the towing vehicle back onto the axles of the trailer and the front of the towing vehicle. Without weight distribution the weight of the trailer pushes the rear of the tow vehicle down causing the weight to come off the front of the vehicle.

There are several types of weight distribution hitches on the market. These hitches are made to go into a rear receiver hitch on the tow vehicle. The hitch is designed to help distribute the weight evenly between the camper and the vehicle. The hitch in essence creates a bridge between the two putting the weight of the camper back on the front tires of the vehicle and the axle of the camper. These hitches are made by several different manufactures and come in different styles.
